About The Savile Arms & the people behind it

The Savile Arms is one of the most popular local pubs in the Elland area. It was taken over by Gary and Tracey Broadley back in 2009 when it was in a fairly poor state of repair.

They have since worked hard on constantly improving the many aspects of a traditional, friendly local Public House.

Since the very sad passing of his wife Tracey, Gary has been even more determined to fulfil their joint plan of bringing the pub to an even higher level of excellence.

The pub now boasts two large flat screen TV's and several high definition screens throughout the bar area. The pub also boasts full in-house Disco equipment with lighting. A brand new juke box has recently been installed which is used during the day and weekday evenings.

The pub has a very friendly atmosphere with all the bar staff being very helpful, courteous and entertaining. We run a weekly Bonus Ball Competition and a recently introduced Bingo Lotto.

Every Sunday in Elland there is a "P**s Pot Run" which traverses many of the local drinking establishments in the area and ends at the Savile from around 7pm - the winning P**s Pot ticket is drawn around 8pm where a retro disco commences until late.

The Savile also has a high-quality pool table (50p per game) and has two pool teams who play in the Calderdale Pool League on Monday evenings.
